my name is eric.

This blog is meant to be a place where I write on my thoughts about any topic I happen to feel like reflecting on. It's just meant to accompany my portfolio and to allow people to get a better sense of my thoughts and my process. I hope you find my ramblings enjoyable to read!

I am starting this blog/website as a personal project to develop myself as a professional and to showcase the projects I have worked on. My goal in doing this is simply to create a foundation platform for myself to publish the things I accomplish and want to accomplish. I have come to realize that the most difficult obstacle for me to overcome when trying to get something done is just getting started, because it implies commitment and dedication that I am hesitant to make. The idea here is to remove a little bit of the introductory barriers to publishing my projects. Putting that first step forward is sometimes enough to commit to an idea that takes me somewhere new and exciting.

what is expected?

I am not sure. I have a variety of interests and passions that I occasionally find inspiration to work on and create something that I think is interesting and worthwhile.
